SCAD's mission is to represent the Armenian-American perspective on Democratic Party policies, expand and empower the Armenian-American Democratic base, shape California state policy on issues important to the Armenian-American community, and ensure the strength of our democratic institutions.

Southern California Armenian Democrats (SCAD) and SCADPAC are the largest and first Armenian-American Democratic Club and PAC in United States. They operate in close coordination with a network of offices, chapters, and supporters across California.

BECOME A MEMBER

Join the first and largest Armenian American Democratic Club in Southern California.

Membership is $25 annually. There is a 45-day cooling-off period for new members before they are permitted to vote for SCAD endorsements.

Contributions or gifts to SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ARMENIAN DEMOCRATS are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes. State and Federal law require us to obtain and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer for each individual who contributes.

Contributors must attest to the following requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen or a lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
This contribution is made from my funds; funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity to make this contribution.
I am at least eighteen years old.

To contribute by mail, please send a personal check. Include your full name, address, email address, occupation, and employer information in the envelope. Contributions of $100 or more made in cash, cashier’s check, or money order are prohibited. Mail your personal check payable to SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ARMENIAN DEMOCRATS to:

CHAPTERS

In 2024, SCAD proudly announced the creation of its first official chapter - Orange County Armenian Democrats (OCAD). While a chapter in San Bernardino County has not yet been announced, SCAD is excited to have Board Member Seta Ghazarian work as a liaison with the people of the Inland Empire. SCAD is also currently in talks to create a chapter in Northern California.
